The Calder Chiropractic Centre is located in central Browns Bay on Aucklands North Shore and is open from 8am to 7pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 2pm Friday and 9am to 12pm Saturday.
The Calder Chiropractic centre specializes in Applied Kinesiology addressing the whole person looking at the chemical, structural and emotional triad of health to achieve quicker and longer lasting results.
All our Chiropractors are trained in many Chiropractic techniques including Functional Neurology, Neuro Emotional Technique, Sports Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Retained Primitive Reflexes and Haemaview. All the Chiropractors are certified in Applied Kinesiology and manual muscle testing.
Using a range of techniques the Doctor of Chiropractic will identify the cause of your pain or dysfunction, and any associated areas that may be involved (for example neck and jaw problems may cause headaches. Our Clinic also addresses nutritional factors and the brains speed and accuracy in positioning the body in its environmentto both facilitate as well as aid recovery.
The cause of your pain or dysfunction is often due to misinformation in the nervous system (brain, spinal cord and nerves) either locally or within the spine, as the nervous system controls all of the body's functions, including its ability to fight off disease.
The other common cause of pain or dysfunction is a breakdown of tissues (loss of strength and resulting injury) due to either inadequate nutritional absorption or a lack of nutrients in the diet. The body requires a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals to maintain health and fight off injury and disease, however if a breakdown occurs we often need a boost in these essential nutrients to recover quickly. Due to nutrient depletion in soils and the increasing amount of processing in foods we often lack the ability to absorb enough nutrient content from our diet alone, and therefore giving the right nutrition can speed recovery and help prevent future injury.
